Here are some photos of unkTodd's new 2006 corvette. (And before you ask, yes...it sounds totally kickass).









The best story of the Vette so far is this:

While it was parked briefly in my driveway yesterday afternoon / evening and the BIL and I stared into the engine compartment and looked it over six ways from Sunday, I repeatedly warned urchin 1.0 to stay away from the car (and any cars) with her toys.

As I walked across the street to fetch my libation, I heard a "thunk," to which I turned around and realized that Lauren had thrown her hula hoop in the air and it hit the roof of the car.

I advised her strongly that she had been asked not to play near the car. I turned and left angry.

I was told by the wife moments later than Lauren had headed across the yard and into the house with big ol' crocodile tears running down her face. When the wife asked what was wrong, Lauren replied "UnkTodd's gonna open up a can on me."

As they say, it takes a village...
